Founded in 1982, we have spent the last four decades developing our expertise in manufacturing threads, yarns and twines for industrial weaving and handicraft hobbyists alike. We have only one mission: to deliver the best threads, yarns and twines. To do that, we focus on three things: manufacturing excellence, sustainable development and colour trends.
We initially launched into business as a warping provider. Having quickly expanded into manufacturing, we cherish the technical knowhow built over nearly 40 years on the factory floor here in Finland. We’re also constantly on a drive to develop new products and find more sustainable materials. We believe in sustainable development and aim to do our part by developing new products using for example recycled materials such as recycled cotton. Finally, we follow international colour trends closely and keep expanding our colour selection to provide one of the best selections of yarns to hobbyists and industrial clients alike.
Everything is made at our factory in Karvala, in the middle of Western Finland’s agricultural heartland where knitting is a time-tested tradition. We’re proud to be company dedicated to sustainable development and product innovation while cherishing our roots in this beautiful part of Finland.
