Kieppari mop yarn
Kieppari mop yarn is THE macrame yarn you have wished for. Also called Moppari’s big brother, Kieppari is made of 100% recycled materials. What comes to Moppari, also Kieppari is extremely durable double twisted mop yarn suitable for all your handicraft projects no matter if it’s macrame, crocheting or weaving. Kieppari has a slightly softer feeling to the hands comparing to Moppari and especially macrame makers love to work with it. The yarn is easy to work with and if you wish, you can open the twist and add beautiful and furry tassels to your macrame piece!
Kieppari mop yarn is made of upcycled cotton coming from the leftovers of textile industry. The yarn itself is not dyed, the colors of the yarn form from mixing together different colors of leftover materials. To add durability to the fiber, there is 20% polyester mixed with the recycled cotton material. As Kieppari is made of 100% recycled materials, also the polyester used in it comes from recycled PET-bottles. Kieppari comes in 1kg cones and each cone has app. 150 meters of yarn. The thickness of Kieppari is app. 5mm.

Please do note that variations between different lots may occur due to the usage of a recycled material. If you need more than 150 meters of yarn to your work, always make sure you have enough yarn with same lot number. Also note that depending on one’s monitor adjustments, the picture color shades might look different compared to the real yarn.
Always follow the care instructions. Kieppari mop yarns may be washed in maximum of 30°C delicate wash with plenty of water and a low amount of detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry flat with good airing. The temperature markings for washing and ironing are all “at most“ temperatures. Always wash with similar colors, light and dark colored textiles separately.
